NORTHFIELD CENTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A teenage girl at the center of an Amber Alert in Ohio is safe after police found the girl and her father.

Police activated the Amber Alert after they say 15-year-old Robin Roberts was abducted by her father, William Roberts, a registered sex offender and known drug user.

Last week, the teen and her younger sister were removed from his custody and placed in foster care, reports WJW. Police said Roberts’ father took her from a Kmart in Brunswick, Ohio, Monday night. Police believed the girl was in danger and issued the Amber Alert later that night.

Police caught up with William Roberts Tuesday afternoon after spotting his pickup truck and stopping him in Northfield Center Township.

Dash cam video shows police surrounding the truck and ordering Roberts to get on the ground.
