INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 19, 2014) – Andrew Luck is going to the Pro Bowl for the second straight year.

The original Pro Bowl quarterback cast consisted of Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Philip Rivers and Russell Wilson.

But now that both Manning and Wilson are playing in Super Bowl XLVIII, Luck and Philadelphia’s Nick Foles join the Pro Bowl as alternates.

Last year, Luck was an alternate who moved up when Brady did not play. He was 12 for 19 passing for a game-leading 205 yards and two touchdowns.

During the regular season, Luck started all 16 games for the Colts, finishing with 3,822 yards, 23 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He also ran for 377 yards and four touchdowns while leading the Colts to an 11-5 regular season record and a comeback playoff win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

In addition to Luck, linebacker Robert Mathis and long snapper Matt Overton will represent the Colts in the Pro Bowl.
