Indianapolis Animal Care and Control and FACE are desperately seeking foster and forever homes for the dozens of abandoned cats and kittens at its facility.

The shelters have become overwhelmed with the litters of kittens coming in daily. If more foster and forever families don’t step up soon, it may be too late for many of the critters there.

Prospective foster families just need a spare bedroom or large closet to isolate fosters from other pets and to love and play with the animals.

IACC will provide pretty much everything else: food, litter, extra blankets, towels, litter box, canned food, toys, medical care, a large dog crate to isolate them, etc.

Anyone interested in fostering or adopting is asked to contact Janet at or by calling (317) 638-3223. IACC can be reached by emailing or by calling (317) 327-1397.
