INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 27, 2016) — Police are searching for three suspects after an armed robbery at an Indianapolis Steak ‘n Shake.

The robbery happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 5300 block of North Keystone Avenue.

According to police, the suspects walked into the restaurant, pointed a handgun at the cashier, and demanded cash.

An IMPD incident report indicated the suspects got away with $285 in cash.  It wasn’t immediately clear if the money was stolen from a cash register, or patrons in the restaurant.

It’s believed the suspects left the area in a Silver 2000 Ford Taurus.

No one was injured in the robbery.
