An east side home went up in flames early Sunday morning and it may not have been an accident.

It happened on New York Street, near Dequincy Street, just before 2 a.m.

A neighbor who has a surveillance camera installed on his home, says he caught something suspicious on video — A man, running from the house, right before it erupts in flames.

Now, police are looking for that man.

They say he’s a white male, about 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10 inches tall, wearing a baseball cap, dark jacket and jeans.

He was seen running eastbound in a nearby alley, as the fire began burning.

The house was vacant and no one was hurt in the fire.
