INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Two men are dead and a pregnant woman is hurt after a shooting near Fountain Square in the 1800-block of Cottage Avenue. Police say it is an isolated incident, but one that still has neighbors shaken up.
Police think everyone involved knew each other, but at this point they still haven’t said exactly what prompted that shooting.
According to police, officers were called to the scene just before 5:00 p.m. , and upon arrival they found two men and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Eric Hoffman, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. William Koenig III, 32, passed away at Eskenazi Hospital. The woman was transported to the hospital in serious condition, and as of Monday morning, police say she is stable. Family confirms the woman was pregnant. According to a police report, she is 24-years-old.
The report also shows police made two arrested two men at the scene, a 22-year-old and a 24-year-old.
Victim’s of weekend triple shooting identified as William “Little Bill” Koenig and his cousin Eric Hoffman.
Witnesses say neighbor shot and killed victim’s dog- then shot the cousins during dispute over the dog.
