TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (May 12, 2014)– The suspect accused of shooting and stabbing a fellow Purdue University classmate is asking that his trial venue be changed.
Cody Cousins’ attorney has filed an application for a change of venue to move the murder trial out of Tippicanoe County.
Cousins is charged with the murder of 21-year-old Andrew Boldt.
Boldt was killed inside Purdue’s Electrical Engineering building in January.
Cousins recently told the court he was being treated for schizophrenia.
