GREENWOOD, Ind. (July 29, 2015)—The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department is searching for two men after several items were taken from a man’s vehicle overnight, including a gun and winning lottery tickets.

Authorities say the suspects were caught on surveillance footage after they went to a Speedway gas station to cash in the winning Hoosier Lottery scratch-off tickets.

Wednesday morning, a homeowner on Shadow Hill Road and Greenwood reported his car was broken into during the overnight hours. He reported the thieves took a Glock 19 model firearm, $200 in cash and two lottery tickets that had winnings totaling $65.

Investigators said the $40-winning ticket was cashed in Wednesday morning at the Speedway in southern Marion County.

Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to call the sheriff’s office at 317-346-4654.
