Baby taken to hospital after crash that barely missed house on east side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 28, 2014) — A car smashed into another vehicle, pushing it into a yard and just barely missing a house early Sunday morning.

It happened at 11th Street and North Bosart Avenue around 12:45 a.m.

Only one person was in the car that was hit. Four people, including an 11-month-old child were in the other car. The baby was taken to Riley Hospital for Children as a precaution.

No one else was injured in the crash.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
