A man, described as an “epic father” is being mourned by his family.
According to the Journal Review newspaper, Duane Swisher was hurt Saturday morning after, Fountain County detectives say, he was hit by a Jeep while riding his bike. Swisher was taken to the hospital, but he died as a result of his injuries.
Duane’s son, Ty Swisher, says his father’s legacy will live on. “Just keep the good memories, there are so many of them, they’re just coming in endless. I could name everything he’s done and I’d still miss a bunch,” says son Ty Swisher.
Duane’s wife says she is so proud of his accomplishments. She says Duane spent 30 years as swim coach for Western Boone High School.
