INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 15, 2016) — Black ice caused problems along I-74 on the southeast side early Monday morning.

Indiana State Police worked several different crashes on a two-mile stretch along I-74 between London Road and Thompson Road.

State police decided to close the eastbound lanes to clean up the crashes and allow INDOT truck to put down more salt. Traffic was flowing normally again shortly after 7 a.m.
