Bloomington man with stab wounds refuses medical attention, tells police he needs duct tape

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (October 20, 2015) – A Bloomington man was stabbed twice, but he refused medical treatment. Instead, he asked police for duct tape.

According to Captain Joe Qualters, Bloomington police responded to several reports of a man walking on Kirkwood Avenue near Peoples Park at about 2:45 p.m. Sunday.

Officers located the man near the intersection of Kirkwood Avenue and Washington Street.

The man refused to tell police what happened and who stabbed him. He also told police he did not want any help or medical attention. But he did ask the officers for some duct tape some duct tape to cover his wounds.

Police later identified the man as Jeremy Robb, 38. Robb was wanted on a warrant for a parole violation.

Medical personnel transported Robb to the hospital, and he is being treated for his stab wounds.

According to Qualters, he will be booked into the jail as soon as he is released from the hospital.
