Bloomington police searching for suspect in connection with 5 armed robberies

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– Police in Bloomington are searching for a suspect who is suspected in a handful of robberies in the past few months.

Officials say the incidents started in October and have continued into December.

The first robbery was on Oct. 8 at the Pizza X located at 877 South College Mall Road. He used a handgun and demanded money from employees.

On Oct. 14, around 10 a.m., Flip Laundry at 411 South Woodscrest Drive was robbed at gunpoint. Just two days later, an armed robbery occurred at Crescent Donuts, located at 231 South Adams Street.

On Nov. 27, the same Pizza X that was robbed on Oct. 8 became a victim again. The suspect used a handgun and demanded money.

The most recent incident occurred on Dec. 4, when the Village Pantry located at 1307 West 3rd Street was robbed at gunpoint.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, between 5’7″ – 6′ tall. He was usually wearing a hoodie and baggy pants. In one incident, he wore a mask.
