Body found by farmer in Sullivan County

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (Dec. 30, 2014)– A farmer discovered a dead body while harvesting corn Tuesday in southwest Indiana.

Just before 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, officers were called to a cornfield at CR 300 North and CR 325 East after the farmer located the body.

Investigating officers are unable to determine the person’s sex or age due to the body’s condition. An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
