Brownsburg Fire raises money for 9/11 memorial

Brownsburg Fire Territory has teamed up with Indy Carmada to host a Car Show on Saturday, benefiting the 9/11 Memorial at Williams Park.

Brownsburg Fire Territory secured a piece of the World Trade Center from the 9/11 attacks with the intention of building a memorial to honor those there were lost that day.

Since Chief Brown became Chief of the Brownsburg Fire Territory, he has supported and encouraged the completion the memorial.

The Brownsburg Parks Department has offered Williams Park as the location for the memorial.

The memorial has already been designed and Saturday’s car show is the largest fundraiser project so far.

Brownsburg High School CHAIN-link organization has agreed to assist with the fundraising effort by designing and selling t-shirts.  T-shirt order form can be found on the Brownsburg Fire Territory website at
