INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 14, 2015)– Charges were filed Thursday against a male Northwest High School student after a video surfaced showing him attacking a female student.

The student is being charged as a juvenile with battery resulting in moderate bodily injury and criminal confinement.

The video shows a male student beating up a female student in the hallway. A group of students gather around the fight to watch, and a teacher repeatedly yells stop.

Northwest High School Principal Michelle Brittain-Watts said that three fights broke out inside the school that day.
