INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — An Indianapolis high school senior defied the odds Saturday night by walking across the stage at graduation.

Macy Huff is now a graduate of Ben Davis High School.

She was paralyzed three years ago during a gymnastics accident, while preparing for cheerleading tryouts.

Since her accident, she’s been going to therapy multiple times a week to regain her strength.

Huff will attend Franklin College and will join the cheerleading squad.
