Vick Ballard suffered some more bad luck on Friday afternoon, as Fox59 Sports has confirmed Ballard suffered a torn achilles tendon during the second day of training camp at practice today.
Ballard, who tore an ACL in his right knee last season, spent the entire off-season preparing for training camp in Anderson. Yesterday Ballard talked about how nice it was to be back on the field after the morning walk-throughs, and many members of the team were looking forward to his addition back on the offense.
The Colts running back was taken off the field on a cart, and many had assumed at first it could potentially be an ankle injury. This injury is likely season-ending.
