ATLANTA, GA. (May 19, 2014)— Indianapolis Colts’ owner Jim Irsay spoke to the media in-person for the first time since undergoing rehab in March.

Irsay joined the Super Bowl Committee in Atlanta, where three cities will make their pitches to host the 2018 Super Bowl.

The Colts owner, who was arrested on March 16 on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance, said he is doing better.

“Physically, I’m feeling decent,” Irsay said to the media. “I still have a little ways to go from a rehab standpoint.”

When asked why Indianapolis should host the Super Bowl once again, Irsay said to take a look at the city’s track record and the “unprecedented job” that was done.

The above interview is continued below in parts 2 and 3.
