2 more confirmed coronavirus cases in Indiana—total of 6 in the state

UPDATE: The Indiana State Department of Health now says there are 10 cases of coronavirus in Indiana. BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – There are now a total of six confirmed cases of coronavirus in Indiana, including one more in central Indiana. The two newest cases are in Boone County and Adams County. Those cases were announced Tuesday morning. The Boone County patient is a woman who officials say does not have contact with children. It’s believed she contracted the virus out of state. She showed symptoms for two days, but is not showing any symptoms currently. She’ll remain in self-isolation for 14 days. The Boone County Health Department said they learned of the case via the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH). No details of the Adams County case have been released. The first confirmed case in Indiana was announced on Friday in Marion County. Since then, there have been two confirmed cases in Hendricks County and one case in Noble County. That makes a total of six cases in the state. The ISDH is tracking cases daily on its website.
