HENDRICKS COUNTY – Investigators are in the process of moving vehicles along I-70 in Hendricks County after a massive crash involving dozens of vehicles.

In the latest update from Indiana State Police, officials said 10 people were hurt, two of them seriously. They said the crash involved 20 semis and at least a dozen cars and pickup trucks. Investigators are starting at the west end of the crash, labeling vehicles and getting information from drivers.

They estimate that it will take several hours before they can get a single lane cleared. That cleanup effort will likely last through Friday. Hazmat crews are also onsite because moving vehicles spills antifreeze, fuel and motor oil.
