WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Sept. 9, 2015)– Police in West Lafayette arrested three people Wednesday after a CVS Pharmacy robbery.
Police said a male suspect entered the CVS located at 512 Sagamore Parkway and handed a handwritten note to an employee, demanding narcotics. The suspect walked behind the pharmacy counter and began taking drugs off the shelves and placing them into a bag.
The suspect was out of the store within minutes. Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and follow it to I-65, where a pursuit occurred. The car eventually stopped. Three suspects were located in the car.
Police arrested the driver, Carlvion Gates, 23, and the two passengers, Meggan Parker, 26, and Ashley West, 23. All three suspects are from Indianapolis and were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and theft.
Additionally, Gates was charged with resisting law enforcement.
The narcotics were recovered after a search of the vehicle. Police expect additional arrests to be made in this case.
