Police investigating after 3 injured in northwest side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Police say three people were injured Thursday night in a shooting on the city’s northwest side.

Officers were called to the 5200 block of Alameda Road, near West 52nd Street, around 7 p.m.  A person was found inside a residence shot in the arm.

That victim was transported to Methodist Hospital in stable condition. Ten minutes later, police learned two people arrived at Eskenazi Health with gunshot wounds.

Both of those victims are in critical condition and currently going through surgery. Police say they were both involved in the incident on Alameda Road.

Officers are questioning the person who drove two of the victims to the hospital, as well as people on the scene of the shooting.
