The Mayor’s Office, along with Metro Police and the Prosecutor’s Office are inviting parents to a gang awareness workshop this weekend.

The meeting will be held Saturday at Monument Lighthouse Charter School on North Franklin Road. It’s a public workshop to educate parents and other community members about gang prevention measures that can be taken in our city’s neighborhoods.

The program will contain adult language and content so it may not be appropriate for children.

The workshop is tomorrow morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
