A Kokomo mother has been arrested, accused of giving her three children alcohol.

Last week, police pulled Loren Breedlove and her boyfriend, Joel O’Bannon, over for speeding. When the officer approached the vehicle, he noticed a child, 2, in the backseat was unconscious.

Police then went to Breedlove’s home and found another 2-year-old and a 3-year-old who appeared to be drunk.

The twin two year olds were life-lined to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. The 3-year-old was taken to an area hospital for observation.

Breedlove and her boyfriend said they have no idea how the twins might have gotten a hold of the alcohol.

The two face charges of child neglect.

The children are now in protective custody.
