INDIANAPOLIS (March 9, 2015) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police homicide detectives made an arrest in connection with a fatal Sunday night shooting.
David Scott, 21, Indianapolis, faces preliminary charges of murder and attempted murder after police said he shot two men inside an apartment in the 1600 block of Centurion Circle. One man was pronounced dead at an area hospital shortly after arrival. The second victim remains in critical condition.
IMPD said Scott and the victims had been doing drugs before the shooting. Investigators found drug paraphernalia and suspected drugs inside the residence.
The case is being forwarded to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. Police have not released the name of the deceased or the other person hurt in the shooting.
