Man arrested in connection with Memorial Day homicide

INDIANAPOLIS (June 5, 2015) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police arrested a man in connection with a Memorial Day homicide.

Detectives arrested Joseph Bell, 40, Indianapolis, on a murder charge.

Investigators said Bell fatally shot Lamar Comer, 33, in the 800 block of Chapwelwood Boulevard on May 25.

The shooting was one of several reported around the area on Memorial Day weekend.
