Man shot on northeast side, transported from CVS

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 4, 2013) – A man was shot on the city’s northeast side and transported from CVS on Monday night.

The man was shot in the arm around 11 p.m. near East 38th Street and North Arlington Avenue. He tried to drive himself to the hospital but had to stop at the CVS in the 5100 block of East 38th Street, near the intersection of North Emerson Avenue.

When medics arrived, the victim was awake and breathing and in good condition.

Police do not have any leads on suspects at this time.
