No charges filed against Indianapolis officers in fatal shooting of man during traffic stop

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 30, 2015) – No charges will be filed against the two officers involved in the fatal shooting of an armed suspect after a traffic stop.

The Marion County Grand Jury announced their decision Tuesday. They met twice while investigating the death of Mack Long.

Long, 36, died at the scene of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Marion County Coroner’s Office.

Two other officers were also injured in the incident.
