IMPD detectives have ruled the death of a 1-year-old as a homicide, officials confirmed to Fox59 Thursday.

Officers were called to the 600 block of South Marion Avenue on May 4. The girl was found lying motionless on the floor. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is not clear how the child died, though.

The child’s mother, Nikita Dunn, says her daughter’s name is Aubrie.

A suspect has not been identified, yet.

The child is now one of the city’s youngest homicide victims this year.
