Police arrest 17-year-old male in connection with fatal shooting

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 24, 2014)– Police arrested a 17-year-old male Wednesday in connection with a fatal shooting on Monday night.

The suspect has been preliminarily charged with murder, robbery and dangerous possession of a firearm by a child.

The victim was identified Tuesday as Darius Rose, 21, of Indianapolis.

The suspect was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.

Police say the investigation is still active, and urge anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS (8477).
