16-year-old critically injured in shooting on Indy’s near northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Police are investigating the shooting of a 16-year-old on the near northeast side of Indianapolis.

The shooting occurred just after 3 p.m. near the intersection of 38th Street and Keystone Avenue.

Police say the teen ended up in a McDonald’s parking lot. It’s unclear at this time how the juvenile ended up there.

The teen was transported to Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
