Police looking for man who stole $5,000 bicycle from school

INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 4, 2014) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are looking for a man accused of stealing a bike from Herron High School.

The theft happened on July 17 at around 8:20 p.m. Investigators said the man entered Herron High School, 110 E. 16th St., Indianapolis, and took a Trek Superfly 100 bicycle valued at $5,000.

The bike was parked down the hall from a classroom where staff members were meeting.
