Police: Man cashed counterfeit checks at three Indy-area banks

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 26, 2016) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are trying to track down a man accused of passing counterfeit checks.

According to IMPD, the man cashed the counterfeit checks at three different Fifth Third Bank locations on Oct. 15, 2015. All three checks were drawn on Knaub Construction & Development LLC out of Florida. The man used a different name and ID at each bank, police said.

Here are the locations where he cashed the checks:

  • 2020 E. County Line Rd.
  • 7921 U.S. 31 South
  • 801 W. Smith Valley Rd. (Greenwood)
