An Indianapolis man responsible for dozens of burglaries in eight different counties will spend the next 25 years in prison.

A judge sentenced Kenneth Ward Wednesday.

Ward admitted he used a crowbar to smash into businesses to steal the cash registers.

The sentence applies to the burglaries committed in Marion County. He still likely faces charges in Morgan County.
