INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Police say an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store on the east side resulted in shots fired, but no injuries.

Officers were called to the scene at 5285 East 38th Street, Emerson Avenue, just before 9 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses reported at least four shots being fired inside the store, but nobody was hit. Three suspects fled on foot, and got into a car.

Police were able to catch up to them at 34th and Sherman. All three suspects, two of which are juveniles, were taken into custody.

The suspects got away with items from the store, but those were recovered.
