INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating the deaths of two men who were hit and killed by a car on the south side.

Police were called to the 4600 block of Kentucky Avenue near High School Road around 12 a.m. Officers arrived to find two men lying in the roadway.

Investigators say a Ford Focus was traveling southwest on Kentucky when the driver veered onto the shoulder and hit the two male pedestrians.

The coroner’s office identified one of the men as 31-year-old Cody Dion. Family of the other man killed identified him as Geoffrey Wilson.

FOX59 spoke to a man at the scene who said he was the brother of Geoffrey Wilson. He said his brother liked to longboard in the area with friends.

The driver remained on scene and was arrested.

Police believe alcohol is a contributing factor in this incident.
