DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. – The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office said their final farewell to longtime K9 officer Sabo on Wednesday with an emotional last call.

Sabo was 8-years-old, and he served the department for six years. He was a faithful partner and companion to his handler Cpl. Jerry Parks.

He had degenerative hip issues and bone loss, and he couldn't walk. He was sadly laid to rest today with an emotional end of watch call and full honors.
