Dozens of cars splattered with paint after spill on Interstate 65

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 10, 2015) – A paint spill on Interstate 65 Friday night caused a big mess for drivers.

According to Indiana State Police, a hose on a paint striping truck ruptured on I-65 SB near the 99 mile marker at County Line Road.

A significant amount of yellow paint leaked all over the road surface.

20-30 cars were damaged by the paint.

Clean-up is underway, and the right lane was closed.
