INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 20, 2015) – An Oct. 6 crash that killed an Indianapolis principal and two children has claimed another life.

Jack Reed, 80, died at IU Health Methodist Hospital Monday, according to the Marion County Coroner’s Office. Reed suffered a medical episode on Oct. 6 that resulted in the crash that killed Indianapolis Junior Academy Principal Norris Ncube, his son Joshua Sandile Ncube, 12, and niece Malia Siziba, 5. Three other children in Ncube’s SUV were hurt.

Reed was hospitalized after the crash, in which he lost control of his SUV and collided with Ncube’s vehicle at the intersection of Washington Street and High School Road. Reed’s family said he likely suffered a stroke.

On Sunday, Ncube, his son and niece were laid to rest. Classes at Indianapolis Junior Academy were canceled during the week of the crash and resumed last week.
