‘Gotham’ leads 2014-2015 FOX TV schedule

(May 12, 2014) – FOX unveiled its lineup for the 2014-2015 TV season.

Comic book-based drama Gotham, which traces the origins of Batman and his rogue’s gallery through the eyes of young detective Jim Gordon, will air Monday nights in front of returning favorite Sleepy Hollow.

Bones will shift to Thursdays, where it will air before Gracepoint, the U.S. version of the popular British show Broadchurch. The network will add two live-action shows to its former Sunday Animation Domination block, including Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Midseason shows include Backstrom featuring Rainn Wilson, animated comedy Bordertown, hip-hop drama Empire, action-adventure Hieroglyph, sitcom The Last Man on Earth starring Will Forte and a limited series called Wayward Pines. Returning shows American Idol, The Following and Glee will also air midseason.

Several shows will not return for next season: Almost Human, Dads, Enlisted, Raising Hope, Rake, Surviving Jack and The X Factor.
