EVANSVILLE, Ind. (August 2, 2014) — Excise officers arrested 17 people on 21 charges at an underage drinking party in Evansville.

They responded to an underage drinking complaint at a home on the 9000 block of Clear Creek Drive early Sunday morning. When they arrived, they found several juveniles outside the house who’d been drinking and smoking marijuana.

Inside the home, officers found 15 minors – 12 under the age of 18 – who’d been drinking alcoholic beverages including beer, jello shots and “jungle juice.”

Preliminary charges for those arrested included illegal consumption of alcoholic beverages, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of tobacco and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

All of the juveniles were cited and released to their parents.
