INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 20, 2015) — Police officers and community members gathered together to place a sign at the site of a fallen officer’s death.

IMPD held its northwest district roll call at 46th and Inland Tuesday night, joined by community members and the family of Officer Rod Bradway. Following roll call, they placed a sign honoring Bradway on the street sign at that intersection. It is just yards away from the area where Bradway was shot and killed while working to save a woman in 2013.

The sign is part of the Fallen Officers Legacy Project. 77 signs have been installed across Indianapolis to honor fallen officers. You can find more information about the project and about each officer at the FOP’s website here.
