INDIANAPOLIS (December 21, 2014) –  A fire broke out Sunday morning inside a downtown Indianapolis parking garage.

Firefighters were called to the parking garage at Capitol Avenue and Washington Street around 8:30 a.m.  Heavy black smoke billowed from the garage, but was under control within an hour.

Investigators say the fire started in a storage room on the third floor, and that squatters may be to blame. No one was hurt.
