INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 3, 2015) – Fourth of July weekend is here and so are all of the events that go along with it!

The Donatos Downtown Freedom Blast fireworks will launch Saturday night at 10 p.m.

Ahead of that, so many other events are planned, including in Fountain Square, Mass Ave. and the Canal.

And, for the first time ever, Indianapolis Motor Speedway is hosting a concert on a non-race weekend, kicking off with the Rolling Stones! That starts at 8 p.m. Saturday, with Rascal Flatts opening the show.

Tickets are still available, starting at $60.

But, before heading to the track, IMS reminds concert goers that, while blankets are allowed, chairs and umbrellas are not.

“For this weekend we’re encouraging people, tailgate all you want in your parking spot, but once you come into the venue you cannot bring a cooler into the venue,” said IMS President Doug Boles. “ You can bring a bottle of water if you want to do that, but there are no coolers allowed, there’s just not the space for it.”
