INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 14, 2014)— A former Indianapolis pastor was sentenced Tuesday after being found guilty of molesting a young boy.

Otis Bernard Jetter, 72, was arrested in December 2012 after a parishioner came forward, saying Jetter began abusing him when he was 12 years old.

The victim said he met Jetter at Pilgrim Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and that the abuse occurred at local hotels and even in the pastor’s van.  The incidents took place in approximately 1994 and 1996.

Jetter was found guilty by a jury on Dec. 10, 2013. He was sentenced to serve a total of 40 years in prison.
