INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Former Park Tudor basketball coach Kyle Cox accepted a plea deal and pleaded guilty to one count of coercion on Tuesday.

Plea deal documents detail the charges Cox admitted to, which include sharing explicit photos with the 15-year-old student and trying to arrange a meeting so the two could have sex.

As part of the plea deal, the prosecutor agreed to ask for no more than 14 years behind bars for the former coach. Cox agreed to ask for no less than a ten-year sentence.

In addition to prison time, the plea deal requires Cox to register as a sex offender, serve two years probation after his release from prison and pay the victim restitution.

The federal judge will have the final say on Cox's sentence, though. Cox will be sentenced on July 14 at 10 a.m.
