Missing Indianapolis man found in Montgomery Co. Jail

Indianapolis Metropolitan police say Patrick Gallagher has been located. He’s currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail on criminal charges of public nudity and public intoxication.


INDIANAPOLIS (November 19, 2013) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are looking for a missing man—and say foul play is possible in his disappearance.

The family of 48-year-old Patrick Gallagher last heard from him during a phone call on Monday, Nov. 11. Shortly after that, IMPD was called to his home regarding trouble with two homeless people he’d let stay with him. When police arrived, they found no sign of Gallagher or the houseguests. According to an IMPD report, some items were also missing from the home.

Police said Gallagher’s vehicle has also been reported stolen. It’s a white 2009 Toyota Yaris with Illinois plate number P740678.

His family filed a missing persons report Friday. Gallagher is about 5’10”, 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
