INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 15, 2015) – Investigators arrested four suspects after they tried to rob a CVS pharmacy at gunpoint.

It happened at the CVS in the 3700 block of Kentucky Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. A witness said four men wearing hoodies ran into the store and showed they were all armed. Two tried to take money from the cash register while the other two went to the back and demanded that workers open the safes in the pharmacy.

The witness says the thieves grew impatient with the time-delay safe. One employee tried to call 911, and one of the thieves ran out the side door, setting off the alarm. By the time the other suspects tried to leave, police were waiting for them outside and arrested them. A K9 unit was able to find the fourth suspect.

IMPD arrested two 18-year-olds and two 17-year-olds in the case.  Investigators said all four may be connected to other pharmacy robberies in the area. Officials say the 17-year-olds will likely be charged as adults.
