INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Aug. 24, 2015) – Community support continues for two young boys who lost both their parents. Last July, Connor and Danny Hall lost their mother and father in a tragic murder-suicide.

Shannon O’Malia Hall was shot and killed by her estranged husband. Shannon’s sister, Colleen Stine, stepped up taking the boys as her own.

“We couldn’t do it without all the help.  I can’t believe our life without them,” said Stine.

With lots of help from the community, the big family is doing well. In total, there are five children. Just two weeks ago, Stine welcomed baby Shannon into the world. Her name was Danny’s idea.

“She’s sweet and so small too,” he said.

“We can’t have her back but we are choosing to live in such a way to honor her. And that is what she wants. I feel our family is complete now that we have little Shannon on board,” said Stine.

Friends and family have hosted numerous fundraisers to support the boys.

“I feel so sorry for people who go through things like this don`t have the support that we`ve had,” said Stine.

Over Labor Day weekend,  L.A. comedian Jon Stites, who was also a former classmate of Shannon O’Malia Hall, will host a fundraiser show at the Rathskeller in Indianapolis on Sunday, September 6 starting at 7 p.m.

Local comedian Miss Pat will also be a part of the show. The show will raise money for the Connor’s and Danny’s education. Ticket information can be found here.
